EDITH M. ZENTZ, age 88 years, formerly of Delta, died in her home in Joppa, MD on Friday, October 21, 2011. She was the wife of Charles Zentz who died in 1976.

Born on December 15, 1922 in Benton, TN, she was a daughter of the late Levi and Ella Mae (Holden) Pell. She had been a resident of Delta, PA for 30 years before moving to be with her daughter in Joppa. Retiring in 1973, she had worked as a Floor Manager for over 20 years at Fawn Plastics in Timonium, MD. She was a member of St. John Westminster Catholic Parish.

Mrs. Zentz had been active with the Delta Senior Citizens, the John S. Murphy Post #7130 VFW in Delta, enjoyed canning, gardening, crossword puzzles, bingo and quilting.

Eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren

Twelve siblings, numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitations will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 26th at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with her brother, Pastor Windell Pell of the Restoration Family Worship Center, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Restoration Family Worship Center, 148 Arcadia Trace Road, Peach Bottom, PA 17563.

Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, E. Green Street, Westminster, MD. Please meet at the graveside for a 2 p.m. service. There will not be a procession from the funeral home.
