Edward J. Coscia, age 69 years, of Delta, PA, died at York Hospital in York, PA, on Sunday, August 1, 2021.

Born in Baltimore, MD, on July 11, 1952, he was the son of the late Edward Bernard and Rita Patricia (Sebeck) Coscia. He was a 1970 graduate of North Harford High School in Pylesville, MD. Ed began his employment with Harford County Public Schools, later becoming a chief custodian. He retired from the Southeastern School District in Pennsylvania.

His memberships include St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, where he served as an usher, the Slate Ridge Post #182, Sons of the American Legion in Whiteford, MD, and the Knights of Columbus - Mason Dixon Council #10100, Pylesville, MD. Ed was a Third Degree member, subsequently obtaining his Fourth Degree status.

He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.

Ed is survived by:

One sister: Joan E. Taylor and her husband, Randy of Plymouth, NC

One nephew: Jared P. Taylor of Baltimore, MD

One niece: Stacy Williams of Pylesville, MD

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Rita Williams, and his nephew, Justin Neil Taylor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 7, beginning at 10 am at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 1021 St. Marys Rd., Pylesville, MD.

Reverend A. Henry Kunkel, III, and Deacon Phillip Seneschal will be the celebrants.

Inurnment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
