Edward Gerald McMillan, 87, of White Hall, MD, died peacefully on Saturday, December 30, 2023. Edward was born on August 15, 1936 in Mouth of Wilson, VA, to his late parents, Raymond Austin and Mary (McMillan) Minor. His beloved wife, Grace Marie (Hensley) McMillan preceded Edward in death on July 6, 2018.

Edward was an honest and ethical business man. He was a self-employed painting contractor. He enjoyed working with his clients and even led a few of them to the Lord and his church, Harmony Free Will Baptist Church in Middle River, MD. He was a devout Christian and loved to witness for the Lord. Edward was a hard worker and a great provider for his family. In his spare time, he enjoyed to bake, a hobby that both him and his mother enjoyed.

Edward is survived by his two sons; Michael Todd McMillan and his wife Christina, of White Hall, MD and Donald McMillan, of Delta, PA. In addition, he is survived by six grandchildren; Craig, Kristen, Alicia, Kevin, Kelly and Cody McMillan. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 10:00 am until Noon at Harkins Funeral Home, Inc., 600 Main Street, Delta, PA. A funeral service will begin in the chapel of the funeral home at Noon with Pastor Mark A. Rudd of Trinity Free Will Baptist Church officiating. Interment will immediately follow the funeral in Slate Ridge Cemetery, Delta, PA.
