Obituary

LIFE STORY PREPARED BY THE FAMILY: Edward Adam Sealover, Jr. passed away peacefully at his residence in Red Lion, PA on Saturday, May 7, 2022. He is predeceased by his long-time companion of more than 35 years, Renie G. Keel who died in 2013 and his dog "Shortie" who died at home a month ago. Ed was born in Baltimore, MD, the son of Edward Adam Sealover, Sr. and Mabel M. Sealover.

Ed attended Kenwood High School and then served during Vietnam with the US Army. Upon returning home, he was employed at Bethlehem Steel in Sparrows Point Maryland and later with Herr and Sacco when he moved to PA. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, boating, but most importantly, he loved spending time with family. He was a Life Member of the North American Hunting Club.

He is survived by his daughter Brenda L. McClaskey, of Red Lion, his son Edward J Sealover, Sr. & wife Amy of Airville, son Ernie N. Smelser of Harford County, MD, and several grandchildren Brittany Sealover, John Heil, and Alyssa Myers, all of Red Lion PA, Hayden Sealover, & Edward Sealover Jr of Airville, PA, Darian and Gage Smelser of Harford County, MD, Kayla, Brooklyn, and Gavin Smelser of Baltimore MD, and two great grandchildren Alivia Laing and JP Heil of Red Lion, PA. Two brothers: John & wife Patti of Wilson Point MD and brother Steve of Baltimore will always cherish their memories of Ed.

In addition to his parents and long-time companion, Ed was predeceased by two brothers, Rick and Mike and one sister, Judy.

He will be missed by many other extended family members, friends and his dog "Pee-wee" who was by his side throughout retirement, up until the day he passed.
