ELIZABETH E. KEESEE, age 68 years of Delta, PA died on Sunday, November 16, 2008

at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. She was the wife of John W. Keesee who died on January 31, 2002.

Mrs. Keesee was born in York, PA on April 13, 1940 a daughter of the late Frank A. and Mary E. (Calton) Wentz. She was a lifetime resident of the Delta area and was a 1958 graduate of Kennard-Dale High School in Fawn Grove. Prior to raising her family, Betty worked for the Dept. of Transportation in Harrisburg. In the 1990's she worked in the domestics department at C-Mart in Forest Hill, MD for over 10 years. She enjoyed walking her dog, traveling and especially day trips and summer vacations with her family. She was a volunteer for the Red Cross. She was a member of the Slateville Presbyterian Church, Delta, where she had served as both a deacon and elder.

She is survived by two children:

Michelle L. Singh of Edgewood, MD

John R. Keesee of Pylesville, MD

One granddaughter: Mikayla Singh

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 19 at 11:00 a.m. at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, PA.

Her pastor, Rev. Carletta R. Curley will officiate.

Interment will be in Slate Ridge Cemetery, Delta.

Viewing will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
