ELLEN VANDYKE GOODMAN, age 80 years, of Airville, Pennsylvania died on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. She was the wife of C. Robert Goodman who died on January 25, 1998.

Mrs. Goodman was born on July 17, 1926 in Nottingham, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Meadows) Vandyke.

She is survived by:

Four children-

Sandra Wells of Arizona

Linda Arnold of York, Pennsylvania

Sue Downs of Airville, Pennsylvania

Bob Goodman of Missouri

Ten grandchildren

Ten great grandchildren

A great-great grandchild

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Arnold.

Services will be held on Monday, November 20, 2006 at Chanceford Presbyterian Church, 56 Woodbine Road, Airville. Visitation from 10-11 AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM.

Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Wells, Ryan Wells, James Wells, Tom Burchett, Daniel Arnold and Donald Hardy.
