ELMA LOVEDA COLEMAN, age 85 years formerly of Elkton, VA, died in her Darlington, Maryland home on Saturday, June 28, 2014. She was the wife of Maynard Coleman who died in 1998.
Born on September 23, 1928 in Russell County, VA, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Nannie (Skeen) Hubbard. An assembly line worker, she had been employed with the former Bata Shoe Co., Glen Eagle and Comdial Phone Systems. She enjoyed gardening, canning and cherished times with her family.
She is survived by:

Arbutus Blankenship and her husband, Willard (Joe) of Darlington
Elma Roddam (wife of the late Howard Roddam, Jr.,) of Street, MD
Maynard (Buster) Coleman, Jr., and his wife, Sharon of Nappanee, IN
Daniel Coleman of Elkton, VA
Ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, a great-great grandchild, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Three sisters and three brothers.
She was preceded in death by a son, Arthur Coleman.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Franklin Baptist Church, 2106 Franklin Church Road, Darlington, MD with church pastor, Rick Wilson officiating.
Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
