ELMO C. "DUKE" HALE, age 73 years of Bel Air, MD, died on Friday, April 17, 2015 in his home. He was the husband of Gladys P. (Wagg) Hale, and on April 18th, they would have celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary.

Born on March 16, 1942 in Whiteford, MD, he was a son of the late Elmo C. and Leva (Seymour) Hale and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving from April 1961 to April 1964. Retiring in 2005, Mr. Hale had been employed with Harford County Government, Department of Highways for 27 years and continued his service on a part-time basis even in retirement. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Theresa Sturgis and Crystal Walter of Forest Hill, MD

Five grandchildren-

Kevin Moore, Michael Hale, Rhea Swope, Marlana Walter and Jacob Walter

A great grandson, David Swope.

He was preceded in death by his son, Pastor Bruce Hale on October 15, 2014.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 1 to 2 p.m. followed immediately with the Memorial Service at 2 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA.

There will not be any public inurnment services.
