EUGENIA SEDONIA MURRAY, age 83 years of York, PA, died on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Colonial Manor Nursing Center. She was the wife of Ralph J. Murray, Sr. who died on December 13, 2003.

Born on October 19, 1930 in Delta, PA, she was a daughter of the late Steve and Elsie (Sweeney) Murray and had worked for York International. Mrs. Murray was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and of Trinity A. M. E. Zion Church where she was active in the choir and mission ministry.

She is survived by:

A son, Ralph J. Murray, II and his wife Tyna of York, PA

Five grandchildren -

Andrew Murray, Nicholas Murray, Barbara DeShields, Charles Matthews and Felecia Matthews

Seven great grandchildren -

Da'Velice, Aniya, DaDa, Mahogany, Marquez, Chanaja and Praise

She was preceded in death by her siblings-

Ernest Sweeney, Delmar Murray, Jack Murray, Sam Murray, Edith Johnson, Ann Carter, Pearl Thompson and Dolores Fells..

Services will be held on Monday, June 2, 2014 at Trinity A.M.E. Zion Church, 1006 Main Street, Delta, PA with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. followed immediately with the funeral service. Interment will be in Trinity Zion Cemetery in Delta.
