EULALEE COX, age 88 years of Street, MD, died on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson, MD. She was the wife of Thurman J. Cox who died in 1978.

Born on March 17, 1926 in Street, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Etta Marie (Burkins) Triplett. A homemaker, Mrs. Cox had retired from working as a seamstress at the former D & D Sewing Factory in Delta, PA. She was known as an avid Christian.

She is survived by:

Sandra Lee Kessler and her husband, Donald R. Kessler of Summerfield, FL

Larry J. Cox and his wife, Renee of Sanderson, FL

Michael C. Cox of Street, MD

Five grandchildren in addition to numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

A brother, James Triplett and his wife, Carol of Churchville, MD

Her faithful companion, a big orange cat named Niko.

She was preceded in death by a son, David A. Cox.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA where the funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday.

Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.

Reverend Ray Powers will officiate.
