EVA ELIZABETH BAUER, 91 of Jarrettsville, MD, died on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. She was the beloved wife of William Karl Bauer, and at the time of his death in 2017, they had shared 67 years of marriage.

Born on May 12, 1930 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late Harry Bell and Mary (Wilson) Bell and was one of ten children. Eva had attended New Huntingdon Baptist Church in Baltimore, MD and later with North Harford Baptist Church in Jarrettsville, MD. Eva was a very spirited woman, always giving to others.

Family was everything to Eva; she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was known to remark that the happiest days of her life was when she was raising her family, bestowing strong family values to her children and having the family return home for holidays and gatherings.

She is survived by four children-

Richard Bauer (Sharon Lynn); Charles Bauer (Ann); Keith Bauer (Kim) and Sharon Nix (Dan)

A brother, Richard Lee Bell

Six grandchildren-Chris Schaeffer; Jennifer Bauer; Matthew Bauer; Zachary Bauer; Emily Wildman

and Grant Nix

Two great grandchildren-Harper and Jalynn

She was preceded in death by her eight siblings and a great-grandson, Spencer Schaeffer.

Private services will be held for her family with interment in West Liberty Cemetery, White Hall, MD. Reverend John W . Manry of North Harford Baptist Church will officiate.
