EVELYN M. YORK, age 72 years, died in her home. She was the wife of James A. York for fifty-two years.

Evelyn was the daughter of the late John W. and Victoria (Ament) Harris. She moved to the Delta area in 1972 with her husband and family. She was a homemaker, loving wife, and grandmother.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by:

Two sons-Steven S. York of Orlando, Florida; Mark A. York of Millersville, Pennsylvania

Three brothers-James Harris of Fallston, Maryland; William Harris of Bel Air, Maryland; Leo Harris of Chincoteague, Virginia

Four grandchildren and two-step grandchildren.

Her brother-Charles Harris, preceded her in death.

A private graveside service was held with her family at Slate Ridge Cemetery, Delta, Pennsylvania.
