FLORA MAE ORWIG, 82 of Felton, PA passed away in her home on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. Born on Christmas Eve in 1936, she was one of ten children born to the late Mike and Martha (Miller) Dandy. Flora was born in Payne Gap, Letcher County, KY and was proud of her birth name: Patsy Catherine Flora Mae Rosa Dandy. She was from a musical family and had been blessed with a beautiful voice. Flora moved with her family to PA when she was a young girl.

Strong in her Christian faith and love for her family, she will be remembered as a loving mother and devoted grandmother. She looked forward to family gatherings and spending time with each family member.

Four sisters – Nadine, Gladys, Charlotte, Mary and a brother, Mike

Thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandsons who will always cherish the memories of their Mamaw.

She was preceded in death by her four brothers, Ralph and Sam Dandy; Willard and Gary.Elswick.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Woodbine Believers Assembly, 9463 Woodbine Road, Airville, PA with Pastor James A. Baldwin officiating.
