FLORA A. SCOTT, age 100 years, of Edgewood, MD formerly of Whiteford, MD died on Friday, August 15 at Smith's Care for the Elderly, Edgewood, MD. She was the wife of the late Lloyd Scott.

Mrs. Scott was born on March 22, 1908 in Cordova, West Virginia a daughter of the late John and Priscilla (Gross) Workman. She was the last surviving child of 12 born to her parents. Mrs. Scott worked for many years at the former Stewartstown Sewing Factory. After retiring she was a caregiver for many people. She enjoyed gardening and prior to her husband's passing away they operated a small farm in Winterstown, PA.

She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her 11 siblings- Retha Workman, Gilbert Workman, Floyd Workman, Paris Workman, Fred Workman, Texie Adams, Nanna Cochran, Iva Corbett, Bucky Workman, Ruth Taylor and Rosa Blake

Funeral service will be on Wednesday, Aug. 20 at 11 AM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, PA with her nephew Rev. Marshall Cochran of Gethsemane Baptist Church in Frankford, W. VA officiating.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, Aug. 19 from 7-9 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Union Chapel Cemetery, Delta, PA
