Florence Romaine (Markel) Booth, of Delta, passed away at her home on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the age of 87. She was the beloved wife of the late Aron Arthur Booth, Sr., who died on August 2, 1991.

Born in Laurel, Maryland, Florence was the daughter of the late George Corten Markel and Clara May Plantholt Markel. She dedicated her life to caring for her family and managing the home.

She is survived by her son, Aron A. Booth, Jr., and his wife, Bonnie, of Delta; daughters, Kathy Sheets of Whiteford, and Linda Sego of Delta. Her grandchildren include Lisa Mink and her husband, Jimmy, of Whiteford; John Sheets of York, Aron Booth III and his wife, Megan, of Red Lion; Jennifer Benway of York, and Jessica Trish and her husband, Matt, of Mount Wolf Florence also leaves behind her 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Joe Sheets and all of her siblings.

A private service and burial will take place in Welcome Home Regular Baptist Church Cemetery. Wagner-Elfner and Harkins Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 600 Main Street, Delta, is handling the arrangements.
