FRANCES CHRISTINE TURNER, age 49 years of Delta, Pennsylvania died at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2006. She was the wife of Roman S. Turner, III. They observed their 28th wedding anniversary on September 4, 2005.

Mrs. Turner was born in Baltimore, Maryland on March 6, 1957 a daughter of Frances H. (Gordon) Leonard of Delta, Pennsylvania and the late Buddy Johnson. She graduated from Kennard-Dale High School in Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania in 1975 and has been employed in various capacities for over 20 years at the Peach Bottom Atomic Station, Delta. She was a longtime member of the Trinity A.M.E. Zion Church, Delta where she served as an usher and was always available to lend a helping hand with any church activities.

One son: Roman S. Turner, IV of Delta

One grandson: Roman S. Turner, V of Havre de Grace, Maryland

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 27 at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity A.M.E. Zion Church, 1006 Main St. Delta with her pastor, Reverend Johnnie Snipes officiating.

Interment will be in Trinity A.M.E. Zion Cemetery, Delta.

Viewing will be on Wednesday, April 26 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta.
