FRANCIS EUGENE VAN PELT, age 62 years, of Delta died on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Terri (Henninger) Van Pelt, and they recently observed their 40th wedding anniversary.

Born on June 11, 1947 in Keyser, West Virginia, he was a son of the late James Roy and Dorothea June (Barb) Van Pelt. He had worked for over 30 years as a welder for the Anchor Motor Freight Company. He enjoyed building street rods, restoring antique cars, attending car shows, and spending time with his family.

Following cremation, an opportunity to visit with his family will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2009 from 2 to 4 PM at Harkins Funeral Home, Delta, Pennsylvania.
