FRANK S. KRICK, SR., 94 of Whiteford, MD, died on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Citizens Nursing Center, Havre de Grace, MD. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary J. (Miller) Krick who died on July 31, 2015. At the time of her passing, they had shared 63 years of marriage.
Born on May 28, 1930 in Peach Bottom Township, PA, he was one of seven children born to the late Paul William Krick and Anna Mary (Taylor) Krick. A welder, Frank worked for the former Wiley Shipyard in Port Deposit for nearly 20 years. In 1971, he secured a position with Pipefitters Local #520 of Harrisburg where he worked until his retirement in 1991. Frank was mechanically gifted and if he couldn't fix the project, he would just create a new item. He enjoyed woodworking, creating beautiful stained glass pieces, went scuba diving and was a member of the Tri-County Dive & Rescue team where he was instrumental in saving many lives. Strong in his Christian faith, Frank was a lifetime member of Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church now known as Mt. Nebo Church of Delta where he was active in church activities, serving as a trustee and a member of the cemetery association. He was a devoted grandfather and cared deeply for all of his family.

Janie L. Gordon and her husband, Brian of Glen Arm, MD and children: Catherine Gordon and Mitch Gordon
Lisa D. Krick of Baldwin, MD and children: Taylor Von Paris and Anna Von Paris
Frank was blessed with two great grandchildren- Riley and Rhys
He was preceded in death by all six of his siblings-Catherine Von Hoy, Virginia Preitz, Paul William Krick, Jr., Grace Cooper, an infant brother and infant sister.
Services will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024 in his church, Mt. Nebo Church of Delta, 962 Flintville Road, Delta, PA with a visitation from 11-12 p.m. followed immediately with the funeral service. His pastors, Reverend Dennis McCleary and his wife, Pastor Jean will co-officiate. He will be laid to rest in the church cemetery next to his cherished wife, Mary.
