GEORGANNA C. SHEEKS, age 94 years of Street, Maryland died on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Country View Assisted Living in Darlington, Maryland. She was the wife of the late Edward L. Brown and the late Ernest Sheeks.

Born on May 30, 1916 in Street, Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Purlee and Sadie (Burkins) Carr. Previously living in Dundalk, Maryland, Mrs. Sheeks had lived in Harford County for the past 30 years. She was a homemaker, enjoying sewing, knitting and crocheting. Mrs. Sheeks was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Dublin, Maryland.

She is survived by:

A sister, Sara Isabelle Wilmoth of Street, Maryland

Loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 20, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Reverend Nick McDonald will officiate.

Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Baltimore, Maryland.
