GEORGE D. BREWER, age 82 years, of Street, Maryland died on Friday, October 31, 2008 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. He was the husband of Veronica Ann Brewer who died on October 13, 2007.

Mr. Brewer was born on November 1, 1925 in Baltimore, Maryland, a son of the late Herbert and Katherine (Holley) Brewer. He had worked as a truck driver for over thirty years for J. Gibson McElvain of Baltimore County, Maryland. He owned and operated a scrap metal business in Cardiff and Abingdon, Maryland in addition to being an avid coin collector.

Patricia Hyman of Forest Hill, Maryland

Thomas D. Brewer of Brockway, Pennsylvania

Veronica Ann Nastvogel of Street, Maryland

Three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Three sisters-

Carol Allen of Dundalk, Maryland

Ruth Church and Barbara Griffith, both of Hanover, Pennsylvania

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania with a memorial service beginning at 11 AM.

Inurnment will follow in Parkwood Cemetery, 3310 Taylor Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland.
