George E. Freimiller, age 70 years , of Delta, Pennsylvania died on Tuesday , February 21, 2006 at 6:11 a.m. at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, Maryland. He was the husband of Vonda E. (Wiley) Freimiller. They recently celebrated their forty-seventh anniversary.

Mr. Freimiller was born on December. 14, 1935 in Hampstead, Maryland, a son of the late George P. and Rose (Poole) Freimiller. He worked for Giant Food Stores at the Essex, Maryland location for 35 years- retiring in 1997 as the produce manager. He served in the Maryland National Guard as a Field Artillery Sergeant from 1953-1958. Mr. Freimiller enjoyed going to flea markets and baseball.

Dawn Everett of Port Deposit, Maryland

Eleven grandchildren-

Donald Herr, Jr., Jeremy Herr, Nicole Vanhoozier, Jennifer Freimiller, Gregory Herr, Miranda Ray, Brian Horn, Joshua Wilmot, Jonathan Everett, Tonya Clark and Trisha Roark.

Four great grandchildren

One sister- Claire Jones of Littlestown, Pennsylvania

Two brothers-

Ernie Freimiller of Pylesville, Maryland

Dennis Freimiller of Crisfield, Maryland

He was preceded in death by a daughter Tina Freimiller in 2003

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta , Pennsylvania.

Reverend John W. Manry, pastor of North Harford Baptist Church, Jarrettsville, Maryland will officiate.

Friends may call at the funeral home Friday , February 24, 2006 from 7-9 p.m.

Interment will be in the Slate Ridge Cemetery, Delta, Pennsylvania.
