Mr. George Floyd Gruber, Jr.August 20, 1969 – March 16, 2026
With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Mr. George Floyd Gruber, Jr., who departed this life on March 16, 2026. Born on August 20, 1969, George lived a life rooted in hard work, devotion to family, and a quiet strength that left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
George was a man of skill and craftsmanship, dedicating much of his life to carpentry. Through his work, he didn’t just build structures—he built trust, relationships, and a reputation for reliability and pride in everything he touched. His hands told the story of a man who believed in doing things the right way, with patience and purpose.
Beyond his work, George’s greatest joy was found in the presence of his family. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and an adoring grandfather. Whether it was sharing laughter, offering guidance, or simply being present, George made sure those he loved knew they mattered. His grandchildren, in particular, brought a special light into his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
George is survived by his loving wife, Tina Gruber, who stood by his side through life’s journey. He leaves behind his beloved children: Clark Moul III, Brandon Moul, Brice Calaman, and Justice Gruber. He was a proud grandfather to Addilyn Veld, Aubriella Veld, Arianna Veld, and Hudson Gruber, each of whom carried a piece of his heart.
He is also survived by his mother, Phyllis Schmidt (née Mitzel); his brothers, Charles Gruber and Devin Schmidt; and his sister, Marie Thomas, all of whom will forever hold his memory close.
George was preceded in death by his father, George Gruber, who passed away on January 23, 2023. We find comfort in knowing they are reunited once more.
George will be remembered not only for the life he lived, but for the love he gave so freely. His legacy is one of dedication, resilience, and unwavering love for his family. Though he may no longer walk beside us, his presence will forever be felt in the lives he helped shape and the memories that will continue to be shared.
In the quiet moments, in the laughter of his grandchildren, and in the strength of the family he leaves behind—George’s story lives on.
