George William Hahner, 79, of Delta, PA died on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehab in York, PA. George was born in Baltimore, MD to his late parents, Alexander and Mary (Diddlemeyer) Hahner. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Swayney) Hahner, also of Delta, PA.

Following graduation from high school, George served his country honorably as a member of the United States Army. In addition to being a proud Army veteran, he worked as a skilled auto mechanic. He enjoyed spending time with his family and close friends.

In addition to his wife Barbara, George is survived by his four children: Colleen Hahner, Chris Hahner, Kenny Hahner and Dawnie Hahner. He is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Kay Boone. Many loving nieces and nephews survive George: Richard (Samantha) Boone, Keith (Kristi) Boone, Craig (Ashley) Bonham, Bradley (Makayla) Bonham and Shelly (Craig) Bonham. His great nieces and nephews: Makenzee Bonham, Craig Bonham, III, Eric Boone, Jesse Boone, Kyle (Allison) Boone, Brianna Boone and Maddie Boone will forever cherish his memory.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Harkins Funeral Home, Inc., 600 Main Street, Delta, PA on Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 5-7 p.m.
