Mr. Ruppert was the son of late George and Catherine (Mitchell) Ruppert. He had worked for Franklin and Marshall College as a technician. After moving from Baltimore, he had lived in the Delta area for over twenty-five years.

He is survived by:

Two daughters-Joan Ann Eggers of Glen Rock, Pennsylvania; Angela Ruppert of Cockeysville, Maryland

One grandson-John Eggers of Glen Rock, Pennsylvania
