Gerline Henderson White, 80, died Monday, June 09, 2014 at Kingston Nursing Center in Conway, SC She was the wife of Phillip Samuel White, Sr. with whom she shared 63 years of marriage.

Mrs. White was born April 30, 1934 in Darlington, MD, a daughter of the late William Wade and Okie Baldwin Henderson. For over 22 years she worked as a mail carrier for the Darlington, MD Post Office, retiring in April of 1994.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. White is survived by; sons, Phillip Samuel White Jr. of Florence, SC, William Edward White, John Nelson White and Matthew Roland White all of Darlington, MD, Timothy Mark White of Delta, PA; daughter, Bonita White Perez of Conway, SC; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 14 at 11:00 a.m. the Episcopal Church of the Ascension, 3015 Dublin Road, Street, MD.

The vicar, Reverend Nick McDonald will officiate.

Interment will be in Darlington Cemetery, Darlington, MD

The visitation will be held on Friday evening, June 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA.
