GLADYS WEBB age 90 years of Airville, Pennsylvania, was called home by her Lord on Friday, November 26, 2010 at 6:02 p.m. from her home where she was surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Elmer A. Webb who died in March 1997.

Born on January 29, 1920 in Swords Creek, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Virginia Hazel (Meadows) Dye. She had lived in York County for the past 65 years and was a longtime active member of Bethany Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting sewing and making pillows.

She is survived by:

Judy Kilgore and her husband, Charles of Brogue, Pennsylvania

Glenda Wanker of Windsor, Pennsylvania

Delcia Runkle and her husband, Wayne: Hazel Cooper and her husband, John, all of Brogue

Cynthia Grove and her husband, Donald of Red Lion, Pennsylvania

Larry Webb; Michael Webb and his wife, Donna, all of Brogue

David Webb and his wife, Natalie of Felton, Pennsylvania

A sister, Beulah Brown of Swords Creek, Virginia

32 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by:

Two daughters-Delores W. Druck and Evelyn Burke

A son, Ronnie Webb

Two grandchildren-Andrew Webb and Jonathan Grove

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Bethany Baptist Church, 4162 Delta Road, Airville, Pennsylvania where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m.

Her minister, Pastor Rodney Stamper will co-officiate with Pastor Blane Vannoy of New Bethel Baptist Church, Stewartstown, Pennsylvania. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Interment will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, York, Pennsylvania.
