GLORIA I. WISE, age 83 years of Street, MD died on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. She was the wife of John W. Wise who died on June 4, 2003.

Born in Hellam, PA on July 12, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Dorothy (Sipe) Holtzinger. A homemaker, Mrs. Wise enjoyed knitting, sewing, reading and crochet. She was a member of the Fawn Grove Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

She is survived by:

Two daughters-

Sharon R. Wise of Bel Air, MD

Rachel A. Blair and her husband, Dallas of Brunswick, MD

Four siblings-

Betty Townsley, Roseanna Frey, Charles Holtzinger and Harold Holtzinger, all of York, PA

Numerous nieces and nephews

She was preceded by two siblings: Delma Winand and Anna Sloat

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2013 from 2 to 3 p.m. followed immediately by the funeral service at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA.

Brother James Torbert from her Kingdom Hall will officiate.

Cremation will follow.
