Gloria E. Ross, age 85 , of Whiteford, MD died on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Bel Air Nursing & Convalescent Center. She was the wife of the late Ray A. Ross.

Mrs. Ross was born on May 10, 1925 in Whiteford, MD a daughter of the late David C. and Charlotte J. (Henry) Jones. She was a practical nurse and had also worked at Aberdeen Proving Ground during World War 2. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church.

She is survived by 2 sons - David G. Williams Sr. and his wife Janis of Darlington, MD and Larry G. Ross and his wife Linda of Aberdeen, MD.

6 grandchildren

12 great-grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.

Funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 7 at 11:00 Am at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, Pa with Rev. William O. Hawley Sr. and Pastor Nicholas Bandy officiating.

Visitation will be from 10-11 AM at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Slate Ridge Cemetery, Delta, PA.
