GRAT E. BLACKBURN, age 64 years, devoted husband, loving father and grandfather passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2009.

Grat graduated from North Harford High School in 1963 and joined the US Navy shortly thereafter. He served until 1967. He was aboard the USS Pulaski County and was a Vietnam Veteran. For the next 41 years, Grat served his country by working for the government at Aberdeen Proving Ground. Grat loved to travel in his RV and could not wait to see what was around the next bend.

He is survived by-

His loving wife of 41 years, Peggy Ann (Clark) Blackburn of Bel Air.

Nikki Smith and her husband, Nick of Fallston

Amy Moore and her husband, Kevin of Bel Air

Grandchildren-

Ben Smith

Savannah, Maggie, Joey and Kassidy Moore.

His mother, Rebecca Blackburn of Bel Air

A brother and a sister.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donley Blackburn and 2 sisters, Lahoma J. Blackburn and Roselie Blackburn.

He will be remembered by many other family members and friends.

Visitations will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA, where the funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 AM.

Interment will be in Bel Air, Memorial Gardens.
