Harold Dean Cornett, 68, of Darlington, MD, died at home on December 27, 2023. Harold was born in Independence, VA to his late father, John Moxley Cornett and his mother, Anna Pauline (Cole) Cornett.

Harold was a proud father, who worked hard to provide for his son. He worked as a dry wall technician, hanging drywall on newly built homes in and around the area. When not working, Harold enjoyed being in the outdoors. He loved to fish, hunt and spend time riding his much beloved Harley Davidson motorcycle.

In addition to his mother, Harold is survived by his son, Harold Dean Cornett, Jr., and his wife Tina, of Kannapolis, NC. He is also survived by his sister; Shirley Yeager, of Street, MD and his brother Michael Cornett, Sr., and his wife Lisa, of Darlington, MD. In addition, he is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

In addition to his father, Harold was predeceased by his siblings; Johnny Mack Cornett, Kathy Joe Evans, Ronnie Dale Cornett, Bobby Ray Cornett and Judy Caroline Cornett.
