Obituary

HAROLD A. WILLIAMS, age 93 years, of Washington Boro, Pennsylvania died on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at the Hospice of Lancaster County. He was the husband of Mary (Delp) Williams with whom he had shared 74 years of marriage.

Born on June 24, 1917 in Cardiff, Maryland, he was a son of the late John Cross and Gwen Williams. Following his retirement with more than 25 years of service, he then worked as the office manager for over ten years at the John Bridge Company, also in Lancaster.

He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. Mr. Williams had great interest in the history of the Native Americans who once inhabited areas in and around Washington Boro. His specific interest in arrowheads was lifelong.
