HAZEL BESSIE BOYD, age 70 years of Red Lion, PA, died on Friday, April 17, 2015 in her home. She was the wife of Ralph E. Boyd and at the time of his death in August 2014, they had shared 53 years of marriage.

Born on September 1, 1944 in Harford County, MD, she was a daughter of the late James Garvie and Ertie (Privette) Cochran. She had worked several years at the former Fawn Grove Manufacturing Company and for ten years at Bel Forest Nursing Home in Bel Air, MD. Mrs. Boyd adored her family, especially her grandchildren.

Eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA where the funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday.

Pastor Ray Powers will officiate with interment in Union Chapel Cemetery, Delta, PA.
