HELEN R. HERRICK., 84 years of Delta, PA, formerly of Lewes, DE, passed away February 17, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. She was the widow of James S. Herrick.

Born December 8, 1931 in West Grove, PA, she was the daughter of George and Violet (Weidner) Thomas.

Helen was the owner and operator of Woodward Florist in Walpole, NH until she retired. Upon retirement, she and her husband, James moved to Lewes, Delaware. She last resided in Delta, PA in 2008 where she lived with her son, Rick.

She loved crafts and was a talented pianist, with the ability to play by ear rather than reading music.

and 5 grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 2:30pm in Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St. Delta, PA. Visitation will begin prior to the service at 2:00pm.

Inurnment will be private at Delaware Veterans Cemetery in Bear, DE.
