Helen M. (Kilgore) Watkins, age 83 of Whiteford, MD died at her home on Sunday October 16, 2011. She was the wife of the late Elwood Famous Watkins who died on February 26, 2006. They were married for 36 years.

Mrs. Watkins was born on November 8, 1927 in Peach Bottom Township. She worked for many years at Aberdeen Proving Ground prior to her retirement. She was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church. Mrs. Watkins enjoyed working in her yard, caring for her cats and birds.

Funeral service will be on Thursday, October 20 at 11:00 Am at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, PA. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM at the funeral home. Her pastor Reverend David Walker will officiate. Burial will be at Dallastown Union Cemetery.
