HERBERT J. MILLER, 69 of Airville, PA, died in the afternoon on Saturday, November 2, 2024 in York Hospital. Married for 44 years, he was the beloved husband of Patricia L. (Downs) Miller. Born on January 1, 1955 in York, PA, he was a son of the late Chester Miller and Roberta (Morris) Miller.

Herbert was a graduate of Kennard Dale High School in Fawn Grove and had worked for Dallco for 41 years. He then continued to work with his wife, Pat on their family farm until his death.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Preston Miller.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Chanceford Presbyterian Church, 1784 Woodbine Road, Airville, PA on Saturday, November 9th with a visitation from 9-11 a.m. followed by the service led by Pastor Beth Appel, church minister.

His family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Airville Volunteer Fire Company, 3576 Delta Road, Airville, PA 17302 in honor of his numerous years of service with the fire company.
