HILDA P. HEAD, age 95 years, of Bel Air, Maryland died on Monday, November 8, 2010 at Hart Heritage Estate in Forest Hill, Maryland. She was the wife of Walter L. Head who died in October 1991.

Born in Morefield, West Virginia on Christmas Eve 1914, she was a daughter of the late Jerome C. and Edith (Hott) Bowman. Mrs. Head was a member of Dublin United Methodist Church, the Gadabouts, and a former member of the Rebekah Lodge.

She is survived by:

Four sons-

James E. Head of Stuart Florida

Charles L. Head of Bel Air, Maryland

Linwood M. Head of Forest Hill, Maryland

Robert E. Head of Bonaire, Georgia

Thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by two children-Barbara A. Lowman and Walter L. Head, Jr. Also by a grandson, Jeffery Head and a great grandson, Bruce Head.

Visitations will be held on Friday, November 12, 2010 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM and on Saturday, the 13th from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at Dublin United Methodist Church, 1528 Whiteford Road, Street, MD, 21154.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, the 13th at 11:00 AM at the church with her minister, Pastor James Johnson officiating.

Interment will be in Darlington Cemetery, Darlington, Maryland.
