IRETA B. KNOEDLER, age 82 of Darlington, MD died at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on Wednesday, May 21, 2014.

Mrs. Knoedler was born in Galax, WV on February 16, 1931 a daughter of the late Ronnie and Margaret Jane (Morrison) McMillion. She was a 26 year resident of Darlington and worked as a grocery clerk for Acme, A & P and Pantry Pride stores retiring in 1987

Her memberships included Port Deposit Post #8185, VFW Ladies Auxiliary and American Legion Post #43, Linthicum, MD.

She is survived by:

One daughter: Brenda McKeen

Two brothers: Charles Franklin and Mearl Sidney McMillion

She was preceded in death by seven siblings and her grandson, John Apple.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 28 at 11:00 a.m. at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA.

Pastor James Johnson of the Dublin United Methodist Church will officiate.

Interment will be in Darlington Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 – 11 a.m.
