ISABELLE W. KILGORE, born on September 15, 1928, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015 in her Airville home. A daughter of the late Arthur and Maye (Cox) Martin, she was born in Black Horse, Harford Co., MD and a graduate of Bel Air High School.

Mrs. Kilgore met her husband, the late Charles Robert Kilgore, at square dances held in Dallastown, PA. At the time of his death in 2008, they had shared 58 years of marriage. They spent their married life on the family farm and were recipients of the Century Farm Award. A 50 year member of Chanceford Presbyterian Church, Mrs. Kilgore was also a member of the Bingo Club #17, Farm Women #21 and the Golden Girls. In addition to her love of bingo, she enjoyed camping and traveling.

She is survived by:

Four daughters-

Donna Lutz and her husband, Wendell

Connie Wayne and her husband, Ronnie

Janie Brown and her husband, Kevin

Barbara Marks and her husband, Melvin

Nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Kilgore is preceded in death by three siblings-

Lucille Jones, Frances Moxley and Arthur Martin.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at 12 noon at Chanceford Presbyterian Church, 1784 Woodbine Road, Airville, PA with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Reverend James B. Shuler of Pine Grove Presbyterian Church will officiate with interment in the adjoining church cemetery.
