J. DAVID YALE, 99 of Delta, PA passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at SpiriTrust Lutheran, Shrewsbury, PA. He was the husband of Marilyn Patricia Yale. At the time of her passing in 2013, they had shared 69 years of marriage.

Just a month shy of his 100th birthday, Dave was born May 26, 1919 in Trap Hill, NC to the late Tyra and Nancy (Crouse) Yale. An Army World War II veteran, he served with the 3rd Infantry Regiment. Dave was known to the local community to have a gentle spirit with a deep love for farming. In addition, he was a long time bee keeper and sold honey locally.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA 17314. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Slate Ridge Cemetery located on the corner of Line and Griffith Road, Delta PA. Pastor Rodney Anderson of New Covenant Community Church will be officiating
