JACKSON VAUGHN STARR, Sr. age 69 years, died of natural causes on Friday, January 18, 2008 in his home in Delta, Pennsylvania. He was the husband of Mary K. Starr who died on May 20, 2004.

Mr. Starr was born on December 29, 1938 in Edgewood, Maryland; he was a son of the late Eason and Ozie I. (Sutphin) Starr. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was currently employed with S. Thomas Contracting in Fallston, Maryland as an equipment operator. He enjoyed restoring gas lamps, cooking and was a Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast.

Joseph L. Starr and Vincent M. Starr, both of Delta, Pennsylvania

Vicki Lynn Starr of South Carolina

Two grandchildren-

Daniel Joseph Starr of Brandon, Florida

Edward Brewer of Darlington, Maryland

A sister, Carol Burdett of Fountain Green, Maryland

He was preceded in death by a son, Jackson V. Starr, Jr. in April, 1991; two brothers - George Starr and Ralph Starr; two sisters - Lee Conrad and Nancy Starr.

The family has not scheduled services at this time.
