Jacqueline Fitch Burns, age 92 years of Delta, PA went home to be with the Lord on November 1, 2020 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD after a short illness.

Born in Charlottesville, VA, in 1928, her family moved to Baltimore, MD, where she attended Sparrows Point High School. She married Bert F. Spare in 1948, settled in Edgemere, MD and was employed by the Lord Baltimore Press and the Baltimore City School System.

She spent her later years in Florida with Milton Fackler who passed away in 2012. She lived in Delta, PA for the last 4 years of her life surrounded by her family, where she accepted the Lord as her Savior.

She is survived by her children:

Bert (Bud) Spare and his wife, Sandra of Delta, PA

Darla Eggert and her husband, William of Whiteford, MD

Four grandchildren

Kim Barnes, Michael Spare, David Eggert and Laura Dick

She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Adele Dice.

A memorial service will be held at Faith Community Chapel 424 Broad St., Extd., Delta, PA, on Sunday November 8, at 1 pm.
