JACQUELINE LEE McCOSH, age 63 years of Stewartstown, PA died at 5:15 a.m. on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at York Hospital due to complications from a spinal cord injury sustained in May 2009 which rendered her quadriplegic. She was the wife of Andrew W. McCosh. They observed their 28th. wedding anniversary on June 24, 2010.
Jackie was born in Hagerstown, MD on December 21, 1946 a daughter of Phyllis (Hepperle) Ringer of Baltimore County and the late Jackson Ringer. She was a graduate of South Hagerstown High School and Towson State University. An English teacher, Jackie began her teaching career in Baltimore city at Robert Poole Junior High School. In 1974, she moved to Delta, PA and for ten years taught at Havre de Grace High School. From 1985 � 1997, she taught English at North Harford High School in Pylesville, MD from which she retired. In 1999, she began teaching as an independent home school instructor in southern York County. In 2001, Jackie also began working as both a community and business writing instructor and as an ABE/GED advisor with Harford County Community College.
Jackie was a past president of the Alpha Theta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International and a member of the Deer Creek Chorale through the Maryland Conservatory of Music.
She loved to travel and made several trips to Europe, though her favorite destination was Culebra, Puerto Rico.

One niece: Kathy Pollitt of Baltimore County
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 11 at 1:00 p.m. at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA.
