Life story written by her family

Jacqueline W. Sunday, "Jackie", wife of the late H. Neal Sunday; daughter of the late John and Beatrice Harrold was born in York PA on September 13, 1930 and passed on August 22, 2021.

She graduated from York High in 1948; married Neal in 1954; and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother & homemaker.

Jackie was a gentle, generous and unconditionally loving person with a great sense of humor and impeccably good taste. Famous for her cooking, baking and candy-making talents, her mints graced the tables of countless local parties, showers, weddings and were once served at the White House during the Ford Administration.

Jackie was preceded in death by her spouse and five siblings.

She is survived by her son, Michael Sunday and wife Jan of Delta, PA and her daughter, J. Michele Markey and husband Michael of Red Lion, PA. Four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be sent to New Covenant Community Church and designated for "Sandy Bay Lighthouse Ministries" an orphanage on the island of Roatan, Honduras.

A celebration of life service will be held at New Covenant Community Church 284 Slab Road, Delta, PA 17314 on Saturday August 28th at 6:00P.M. Please dress casually.
