James A. Fulcher, age 66 years of Delta, PA died at York Hospital on Tuesday, November 19, 2013. He was the husband of Janet I. (O'Keefe) Fulcher. The observed their 40th. wedding anniversary on June 9.

Jim was born in Baltimore on May 4, 1947 the son of Jacqueline (Judge) Fulcher of Jacksonville, MD and the late George Fulcher. He spent most of his career with Crown Central Petroleum where he retired as a Senior Systems Analyst. For the past several years, Jim had been employed as a Plant Operator at Synagro in Baltimore.

A U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Era, he enjoyed spending time at home with his family and horses.

Jim appreciated a good book and loved the family time at the beach in North Carolina.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by:

Two daughters: Amy Fulcher and Lauren Fulcher, both of Delta

One step son: Steve McCready of Ocean City, MD

One sister: Candi Bures of Parkton, MD

Four grandsons: Jacob, Joseph, Kody and Thomas

One nephew: David Bures of Monkton, MD

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Hailey

The visitation will be held on Friday, November 22 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA.

The funeral service, with military honors, will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening at the conclusion of the visitation at 8:30 p.m.

Officiating will be Reverend James B. Shuler of the Pine Grove Presbyterian Church in Airville.

There will be no interment.
