James B. Acker, age 65 years of Bel Air, MD died on Thursday, July 8, 2010. He was the husband of Betty-Jo (Reedy) Acker. They were married for 45 years.

Mr. Acker was born on August 30, 1944 in Forest Hill, MD a son of the late Theodore and Anna (Temple) Acker. He loved being on the water- boating, fishing and crabbing.

In addition to his wife he is survived by 2 daughters Shari Breeden and Angela Weiman.

2 Grandchildren - Stacey Breeden and Tony Weiman

Brothers- Charles and Willard Acker

Sisters- Dorothy Taylor, Catherine Rudd, Thelma Ayers and her husband Fred, Jane Overbay and her husband Ben

Brother-in-law- William Reedy

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers- Robert & Theodore Acker

Funeral service will be on Tuesday, July 13 at 11:00 AM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, PA with Gary Henry officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, July 12 at the funeral home from 6-8 PM.

Burial will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens
