JAMES ALAN SCARBOROUGH, 63 of Street, MD, died on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. He was the beloved husband of Charlene Marie (Lynch) Scarborough with whom he had shared four years of marriage.

Born on May 1, 1957 in Baltimore, MD, Jim was a son of the late Paul Amos Scarborough and Vleada Katrina (Stamper) Scarborough and twin brother to Janie Caldwell. A 1975 graduate of Edgewood High School, he was a member of Local Union #37 International Union of Operating Engineers of Baltimore MD where he operated heavy equipment. Jimmy was a dedicated supporter of his local community. He will be remembered as an amazing friend, caring father/grandfather, devoted husband and loving brother.

A daughter, Crystal Conrad (Charles) of Street, MD

Two stepdaughters-

Jamie Greer (Eric) of Pylesville, MD

Kristina Corun (Todd Eckley) of Street, MD

Five grandchildren-

Five siblings-

Doris Street of San Antonio, TX

Twin-sister, Janie Caldwell (Bill) of Street, MD

Jeff Scarborough (Dawn) of Delta, PA

Paul Scarborough, Jr. (Cindy) of Delta, PA

He was preceded in death by a sister, Paula Pence.

Services will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Harkins Funeral Home, Inc., 600 Main Street, Delta, PA with a viewing from noon until 2 p.m. followed immediately with the funeral service. His uncle, Pastor Rodney Stamper of Bethany Baptist Church, Airville, PA will officiate. Interment will be in the family plot in Slate Ridge Cemetery, Delta, PA.
