Mr. Bolt was the son of William Enoch and Verdie Belle (Carico) Bolt. He moved to Harford County in 1953. He had worked as a carpenter for Beards Construction in Baltimore, Maryland. Friends and family members remarked that he loved gardening, growing flowers, and small farming activities.

He is survived by:

A son-James Edward Bolt of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren

A sister-Wanda Heddinger of Galax, Virginia\

A companion-Geraldine Sizemore

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia Clark.
