Obituary prepared by his family - James Richard Cochran was born September 3, 1944 to the late Minnie Edna Burns Cochran & Clyde Wesley Cochran of Fallston Maryland.

Mr. Cochran attended Bel Air High School & Harford Junior College (now known as Harford Community College).

He was employed at the former Fallston Hospital in Environmental Services from 1976 -2000 and then at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center until his retirement.

Jim was a familiar face to many around Bel Air. He enjoyed bowling and listening to country music. He loved horses and was a gifted artist with a special talent for drawing.

He is survived by his brother, Gene. P Cochran and sister-in-law Maxine Cochran of Bel Air. He is also survived by nieces: Sheila Cullum, Linda Anthony, Sharon Levin, Cheryl Rhodes, Leslie Spencer, Diane Shoenbeck, Terri Owen, Jodi Zulich, Lori Sowada and nephews: John Mitchell, Tom Mitchell and Tim Mitchell. Jim was predeceased by his parents, brother, Charles Cochran, his sisters: Shirley Wheat, Mary Lou Mitchell, Ruth Ann Bennett and his nephew, David Cochran.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 11 a.m. in Fallston United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1503 Fallston Road, Fallston, MD. Please gather at the gravesite.
