James Jay Milwid, 69, of Horntown, VA, died at his son's house in Baldwin, MD on Friday, September 1, 2023. James was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to his late parents, Albert Milwid and Faye Beard Milwid on November 20, 1953.

James worked as an Electrician for IBEW Local 229. He also previously served the Delta community as an ambulance driver for Delta Cardiff Firehouse.

James leaves to mourn his two daughters, Allison Milwid and Donna Beck Dixon, his two sons, Alexander Milwid and Joseph Beck, and his three grandchildren; Olivia Dixion, Cole Dixion and Jackson Beck. His brother, Michael Milwid also survives him.

A viewing will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Harkins Funeral Home, Inc., 600 Main Street, Delta, PA. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday September 12, 2023 at 11am. Interment will take place in Slate Ridge Cemetery immediately following the funeral. Certified Lay Minister Carol Burkindine of The Peach Bottom Charge of The United Methodist Church will officiate.
