JAMES JOSEPH JONES, age 78 years of Street, Maryland died on Thursday, July 21, 2005 at 3:50 AM at the VA Maryland Health Care System in Perry Point, Maryland.
James had been the husband of Claudia Jean (Scarborough) Jones and on July 10th celebrated their twenty-ninth anniversary.
Mr. Jones was born on February 15, 1927 in Baltimore, Maryland; he was the son of the late Edward and Emma (Foggett) Jones.
He was a WWII United States Army Veteran serving in the Asiatic Pacific Theater in occupied Japan. He served as the Vice-President of Field Operations for the McCormick Spice Company at Hunt Valley, Maryland. He had lived in the Street area for over thirty-two years after moving from Carney, Maryland. He was a member of the Highland Presbyterian Church in Street, Maryland.

Elizabeth Mitchell of Abingdon, Maryland

Nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren

Marvin Jones of Fort Walton Beach, Florida
Many loving nieces and nephews
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2005 at 10:30 AM at Highland Presbyterian Church, 701 Highland Road, Street, Maryland with his pastor, Reverend John V. Carlson presiding.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Highland Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, C/O Mrs. Wilson Jones, 3941 Ady Road, Pylesville, MD 21132
